Rick is a proud local with a global outlook. He grew up in rural Waitaha Canterbury and spent his formative years immersed in Christchurch's music scene. Rick's journey then took him to Europe, where he honed his artistic talents, and back to Ōtautahi Christchurch, where he combined his Bachelor's degree in Psychology and passion for film and television to establish Belmont.

Rick’s expertise in storytelling has led him to produce diverse projects, from commercials and music videos to broadcast documentaries. In 2016 he transformed a warehouse into a creative media hub. With a team of talented filmmakers at his fingertips, Rick ensures every Belmont project is crafted to precision and artfully tailored to tell the unique stories of the people and businesses he partners with.
